Dreame CEO Yu Hao published three consecutive posts on Weibo yesterday, strongly criticizing Xiaohongshu. He stated: "Xiaohongshu is an extremely poor platform! Its social value orientation is terrible!"

Yu Hao clarified that his criticism was not triggered by any recent negative publicity about Dreame on Xiaohongshu, but rather came from his observations over time. "Basically, don't trust any reviews about our products on Xiaohongshu! I certainly don't take any feedback from that platform as reference. It's a platform with both toxic values and a toxic profit model!"

He further commented, "As for people who enjoy using Xiaohongshu, some people will always prefer certain platforms, just like some always enjoy gossip and rumors. Xiaohongshu is a platform that plays on the darker aspects of human nature. It thrives on comparison, showing off, and exaggeration. There probably isn't a single good company on Xiaohongshu, except for Xiaohongshu itself. I believe platforms should uphold values and shouldn't profit from harmful practices."

Yu Hao also asserted in his posts, "When we sue every blogger who spreads rumors on Xiaohongshu, we should sue the Xiaohongshu platform along with them! It's because people are afraid of this platform that it can so recklessly push various unverified false messages and act without restraint!"

In response to inquiries, Xiaohongshu had not issued any statement at the time of reporting.
