The national “Quality Month” campaign, a mass-oriented quality initiative in continuous operation since 1978, has evolved over the years into a vital platform for advancing the construction of a quality-driven nation and fostering a robust quality culture in the new era. To thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on building a quality-strong nation, fully execute the requirements of the “Quality-strong Nation Construction Outline,” its Shanghai implementation plan, and the “2026 Key Points of Shanghai Quality Work,” and in close alignment with Baoshan District’s “North Transformation” strategy, the “One Land, Three Zones” development goals, and the high-quality development requirements marking the opening year of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” the district will roll out its “Quality Month” activities throughout September. These efforts aim to heighten public quality awareness and elevate the district’s overall quality standards.

The theme for Baoshan District’s 2026 “Quality Month” is “Quality Leadership, Excellence in Baoshan.” During this year’s campaign, 45 district-level departments, units, and enterprises will host over 60 activities spanning quality promotion, quality enhancement, quality regulation, and collaborative quality governance. These initiatives are designed to cultivate a district-wide atmosphere that values, prioritizes, pursues, creates, and enjoys quality. A detailed schedule of the activities is provided below:

As part of this year’s “Quality Month,” Baoshan District will organize “Quality Open Day” themed events, featuring organizations that have won the Sixth (2025–2026) Government Quality Award. These award-winning entities will open their doors to businesses and the public, offering site visits and experience-sharing sessions. The goal is to disseminate best practices, leverage the exemplary role of quality benchmarks, and establish channels for mutual learning and knowledge exchange, thereby driving improvements in the region’s overall quality capabilities.
