As temperatures gradually rise, nightlife in Zhoushan is becoming more vibrant. Recently, construction has been in full swing for the Shenjiamen Zhong Shatou Night Market in Putuo District. It is expected to be operational by the end of May, adding a new landmark for dining, entertainment, leisure, and social check-ins in Zhoushan.

On the afternoon of April 15, the construction site of the Shenjiamen Zhong Shatou Night Market was bustling with activity, with multiple excavators simultaneously carrying out digging and road leveling work. Where is the night market located? What will it offer? Here are the details.

The Shenjiamen Zhong Shatou Night Market project is situated in Shenjiamen Subdistrict, bordered by Donghai West Road to the north and Binhai Avenue to the south. It is adjacent to Jiangwan Binhai Park, Dong'ao New Village, and Donghai Mansion. The project covers a planned area of 13,583 square meters, including a sports field, with a total investment of approximately 4 million yuan and a construction period of 45 days.

According to the project's renderings, it is planned to be developed into a comprehensive night market square integrating creative markets, family entertainment, leisure culture, fitness activities, cultural and creative shopping, and outdoor exhibitions and sales. Supporting facilities such as parking lots and sports fields will be included to meet the diverse leisure needs of residents.

Wu Zhechao, the project manager of the Shenjiamen Zhong Shatou Night Market, stated that the project will include an affordable night market area and an entertainment zone with a central stage. The affordable night market area is primarily planned to host 14 large stalls, 38 medium-sized stalls, and 30 small stalls.

By illuminating the night economy and creating a new landmark, Zhoushan residents will soon have another destination for their evening activities.
