Financial research firm Fundstrat has incorporated Ethereum into its "Mag7 & Bitcoin" recommended investment strategy, describing it as the largest macro trading opportunity for the next 10-15 years. Tom Lee, co-founder and head of research at Fundstrat, known as the "Wall Street Oracle," stated: "The primary driver is Wall Street's migration toward blockchain, propelled by the GENIUS Act and the SEC's crypto project aimed at transitioning Wall Street to blockchain infrastructure. Most stablecoins and Wall Street blockchain initiatives are built on Ethereum."

Data reveals that Ethereum has surged 40.4% since the beginning of this year, outperforming Bitcoin's 27.7% gain. Sean Farrell, Fundstrat's head of digital asset research, anticipates Ethereum will reach $10,000 by year-end, with potential upside to $12,000-$15,000, indicating substantial room for further growth.

Standard Chartered has similarly raised its Ethereum price forecasts significantly, expecting the cryptocurrency to surpass its November 2021 all-time high of $4,866 in the third quarter of 2025 and reach $7,500 by year-end (up from a previous forecast of $4,000). The bank projects Ethereum will hit $12,000 in 2026, $18,000 in 2027, and $25,000 during 2028-2029.

Despite these optimistic projections, Bank of America's latest fund manager survey shows only 9% of fund managers hold cryptocurrency, compared to 48% holding gold. Tom Lee commented: "This demonstrates we're still in very early stages."

Lee also recommended that investors seeking Ethereum exposure could hold Ethereum ETFs or purchase "Ethereum vault stocks," similar to MicroStrategy's (MSTR.US) Bitcoin strategy but with Ethereum as the underlying asset. The three major "Ethereum vault stocks" include: Bitmine (BMNR.US, holding over 1.15 million Ethereum), Sharplink Gaming (SBET.US), and Ethermachine (DYNX.US).

Tom Lee remarked: "This remains the most 'unloved' V-shaped recovery. We believe Bitcoin serves as a leading indicator, so we expect stocks to return to all-time highs, which Bitcoin achieved last week."
