The technology conglomerate TENCENT (HKEX: 00700) has announced a significant share repurchase transaction.

On June 22, 2026, the company allocated HK$500.6 million to buy back 1.154 million of its own shares.

Additionally, on the same date, 40,200 new shares were issued as a result of stock option exercises.
