Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that the new National Space Agency will operate under its purview and spearhead the nation's strategic development in the space sector.
The National Space Agency will assume and expand upon the existing responsibilities of the Office for Space Technology and Industry, which include conducting space-related research and fostering international collaborations.
Furthermore, the agency will be entrusted with additional functions, such as overseeing the construction and operation of Singapore's national space capabilities and formulating relevant laws and regulations for the space industry.
