Dizal Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. (688192.SH) has announced that its exclusive licensing agreement with AstraZeneca UK Limited for the global development and commercialization of Sunvozertinib has officially taken effect.

The company confirmed on July 14, 2026, that it had signed a licensing agreement granting AstraZeneca exclusive worldwide rights to develop and commercialize the drug. All conditions precedent outlined in the agreement have now been satisfied, with the deal becoming effective on August 31, 2026.

Under the terms of the agreement, AstraZeneca is set to launch Sunvozertinib commercially in the United States during the fourth quarter of this year. Dizal will receive a one-time, non-refundable upfront payment of $600 million from AstraZeneca, in addition to potential development milestone payments of up to $400 million and sales milestone payments of up to $500 million. Furthermore, Dizal is entitled to tiered royalties ranging from high-single-digit to low-double-digit percentages based on global net sales of Sunvozertinib.
