On November 13, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Innovation Development Summit and the High-Quality Development Conference for Top 100 Enterprises was held in Shijiazhuang. The event unveiled the 2025 Hebei Top 100 Enterprises, Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, Top 50 Innovation Leaders in Manufacturing, Top 100 Service Enterprises, and Top 50 Innovation Leaders in Services, with certificates awarded to the listed companies.
Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., Jingye Group Co., Ltd., and Southern Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. ranked as the top three in both the 2025 Hebei Top 100 Enterprises and Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises lists. Meanwhile, ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd., Hebei Logistics Industry Group Co., Ltd., and Rongsheng Holding Co., Ltd. led the 2025 Hebei Top 100 Service Enterprises list.
These five newly released rankings not only highlight the strong capabilities and innovative vitality of the top performers but also serve as a barometer for observing Hebei's high-quality economic development.
**Larger Scale** The entry threshold for the Top 100 Enterprises reached 6.058 billion yuan, reflecting a 6.30% year-on-year increase—5.08 percentage points higher than the growth rate of China's Top 500 Enterprises in 2025. The total revenue of the Top 100 Enterprises amounted to 4.636176 trillion yuan, up by 63.053 billion yuan from the previous year.
Leading enterprises demonstrated strong momentum, with Hebei Xin Hai Holding Group Co., Ltd. joining the "100-billion-yuan revenue club," expanding its membership to 12 companies. Five companies surpassed 200 billion yuan in revenue, two more than the previous year, including Southern Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. and
Manufacturing remained a dominant force, with 63 companies making the Top 100 list. The entry threshold for the 2025 Hebei Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises rose to 2.214 billion yuan, up 10.42% year-on-year, underscoring the robust competitiveness of "Hebei Manufacturing."
State-owned and private enterprises accounted for 31 and 69 of the Top 100, respectively. Geographically, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, and Handan led with 22, 19, and 18 companies on the list.
**Stronger Momentum** Total R&D investment by the Top 100 Enterprises reached 85.102 billion yuan, reflecting strong innovation efforts. R&D spending across the Top 100 Enterprises, Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, and Top 100 Service Enterprises grew by 13.92%, 13.38%, and 11.88%, respectively.
This increased investment translated into significant innovation output. The number of patents held by the Top 100 Enterprises surged, with
Hebei has released its Top 50 Innovation Leaders in Services for six consecutive years, and this year introduced the inaugural Top 50 Innovation Leaders in Manufacturing to showcase progress in developing new productive forces.
To date, 147 companies have been listed as Top 50 Innovation Leaders in Services, with BGP Inc., ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd., and Hebei Wangxing Software Co., Ltd. ranking as the top three. Software and IT services emerged as the primary drivers of innovation, forming the core of Hebei's service sector advancement.
In manufacturing, Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited, Yungu (Guan) Technology Co., Ltd., and
**Enhanced Efficiency** Manufacturing outperformed other sectors in per capita revenue and net profit. Among the 2025 Hebei Top 100 Enterprises, manufacturing employees generated 4.8942 million yuan in per capita revenue and 73,400 yuan in per capita net profit—both metrics leading all industries.
Heavy chemical industries dominated the Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, with steel maintaining its scale advantage. The ferrous metallurgy sector averaged 82.457 billion yuan in revenue, ranking first among all industries.
However, profitability varied structurally. Of the Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, 86 were profitable, with 60 reporting year-on-year net profit growth.
Several companies achieved breakthroughs in key areas. Tangshan Baichuan Intelligence independently developed multiple smart maintenance robots, filling 234 domestic technology gaps. Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited used AI to reduce early-stage drug discovery time by over 30% and increased overall R&D success rates by more than 50%.
By embracing intelligent, green, and integrated development, Hebei's manufacturing sector is accelerating its transformation and upgrading.
