The Nanjing Yangtze River Waterway Engineering Bureau recently organized a health education and first aid skills training program for the Pinglu Canal HD13 project. The event was conducted in partnership with the Qinzhou First People's Hospital and the Qinzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention, bringing a professional medical team directly to the project site. The initiative aimed to protect the health of frontline workers through health knowledge dissemination and practical first aid training, thereby strengthening the health protection framework for the project and supporting its high-quality progress.

Medical personnel began the session by delivering targeted health education tailored to the specific conditions of construction work. They provided detailed explanations on preventing common infectious diseases, daily health maintenance, and seasonal illness prevention, guiding employees to enhance their health awareness and self-protection capabilities.

During the first aid training segment, medical staff offered hands-on instruction in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the correct operation of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). They also explained emergency response measures, prevention tips, and key precautions for heatstroke incidents, enabling workers to master essential lifesaving skills through practical exercises.

Following the training, the medical team offered health consultations and on-site medical services, addressing questions related to daily wellness, chronic disease management, and seasonal health risks. Personalized health guidance was provided to participants.

Since the project's Party branch and the Qinzhou First People's Hospital initiated a Party building collaboration in 2023, the two sides have continued to deepen their partnership, leveraging their respective strengths to deliver tangible benefits for frontline workers. The hospital has established a dedicated green channel for project employees, streamlining medical access and ensuring comprehensive health services, including consultations and specialized treatment, are consistently available.

These collaborative efforts between the enterprise and medical institution have effectively addressed urgent healthcare needs among workers, boosting their sense of belonging, well-being, and security. The initiatives have further united the team, enhancing their capacity to overcome challenges and work diligently toward the high-quality construction of the Pinglu Canal project.
