Recent reports indicate that Yang Meng, who served as DingTalk's global commercial president and head of the client development division, has completed the internal procedures for his departure and is reportedly planning to join Ant Group. Ren Qing, who holds the vice president title at Alibaba's DingTalk Wukong unit, will take over the commercialization responsibilities previously managed by Yang Meng.

As of the time of writing, DingTalk has not yet issued an official response regarding this development.

In June of this year, DingTalk's newly appointed CEO Chen Yusen released an internal memo outlining organizational restructuring efforts. As part of these changes, the direct sales, telesales, service partner, pre-sales, delivery, and customer success teams were consolidated into a single client development division, with Yang Meng placed at the helm, reporting directly to Chen Yusen.

According to available information, Yang Meng is a long-tenured Alibaba employee who joined the company in 2002. He began his career in the China supplier business as a frontline sales representative, and in 2019, he was transferred to DingTalk to oversee sales operations. He subsequently rose to the position of global commercial president, taking full responsibility for direct sales, channel service partners, key accounts, and the ecosystem commercialization framework.

Following Chen Yusen's appointment as DingTalk CEO, the Wukong and MuleRun teams were integrated. Subsequently, Alibaba further consolidated its three Agent products—QoderWork, Wukong, and MuleRun—to launch Qianwen Office, which was then deeply integrated with DingTalk.

In August of this year, Alibaba's enterprise-grade Agent product Qianwen Office commenced public beta testing. The platform has already connected with DingTalk, Feishu, and WeCom, achieving comprehensive support across China's three major collaborative office platforms.
