A new round-trip air route linking Ali Kunsha, Hotan, and Urumqi officially commenced operations on September 3, marked by flight 8L9993's smooth touchdown at Ali Kunsha Airport.

Operated by Lucky Air, the route runs every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday using Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Flight 8L9993 departs Urumqi Tianshan International Airport at 06:55, arrives at Hotan Kungang Airport at 09:10, takes off from Hotan at 09:55, and lands at Ali Kunsha Airport at 11:25. The return flight 8L9994 departs Ali Kunsha at 12:10, reaches Hotan at 13:50, leaves Hotan at 14:35, and arrives back at Urumqi Tianshan International Airport at 16:30.

Lucky Air's existing Urumqi-Kashgar-Ali service operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, creating a complementary schedule with the new route. Together, these two Xinjiang-Tibet connections significantly enhance high-altitude route capacity and improve travel convenience for passengers.

The newly launched service has been upgraded to a premium route, offering economy-class travelers 20 kilograms of free checked baggage allowance, a 7-kilogram carry-on luggage limit, and complimentary in-flight meals.
