ASCENTAGE PHARMA GROUP (06855) announced the appointment of Dr. Faiçal Miyara as Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Jim Ziegler as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective immediately.

Dr. Miyara also spent five years at Pfizer, where he co-founded and established the Pfizer New York Therapeutic Innovation Center (CTI) and held multiple senior R&D roles. He subsequently worked at ImClone Systems and Eli Lilly for five years, directly contributing to the R&D and optimization of several notable FDA-approved oncology biologics, including Erbitux (cetuximab) and Cyramza (ramucirumab).

Dr. Miyara holds a PhD in Reproductive Biology, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Sorbonne University) in Paris, France, and a Master's degree in Medical Biology and Engineering from Joseph Fourier Medical School in Grenoble, France. He remains deeply engaged in scientific innovation, having co-authored multiple academic book chapters, published numerous papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and holds three independent patents as a primary inventor.
