ComfortDelGro establishes Malaysia JV, divests Scottish cab arm and winds up China unit

ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited said on Feb, 27 2026 that it completed three corporate actions in the second half of the financial year ended Dec, 31 2025.

The group’s testing subsidiary, Setsco Services Pte Ltd, and Malaysia-based QAV Technologies Sdn. Bhd. incorporated Setsco QAV Technologies Sdn. Bhd. on Aug, 11 2025. The new Malaysian joint venture, which offers electrical and electronic testing services, has issued and paid-up capital of MYR7.2 million (about 2.1 million Singapore dollars). ComfortDelGro’s effective interest in the venture is 32.86 %, funded through internal resources.

On Oct, 7 2025, wholly-owned subsidiary CityFleet Networks Limited agreed to sell its Scottish unit, Computer Cab (Aberdeen) Ltd, for £0.6 million (about 1.0 million Singapore dollars). The consideration will be paid in three tranches: £0.3 million on completion, £0.15 million on the first anniversary and £0.15 million 18 months after completion.

Separately, Suzhou Comfort Taxi Co., Ltd, a 70 %-owned subsidiary incorporated in China, was dissolved on Oct, 15 2025 after being inactive since 2022.

ComfortDelGro said the transactions are not expected to have any material impact on the group’s net tangible assets or earnings per share for the financial years ended Dec, 31 2025 and ending Dec, 31 2026. The company added that none of its directors or controlling shareholders has any interest in the deals beyond their shareholdings or directorships in the group.
