Recently, 18 departments, including the Publicity Department of the Cangyuan County Party Committee and the County Public Security Bureau, jointly launched the 2026 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week, themed "Cybersecurity for the People, Cybersecurity by the People - Smart Era, Cyber Protection." The initiative focused on precision measures for different groups and sectors, creating a multi-point, full-coverage cybersecurity outreach framework.

The campaign centered on six themed days: Campus Day, Telecom Day, Rule of Law Day, Financial Day, Youth Day, and Personal Information Protection Day. It combined online and offline activities, synchronized special training with publicity and education, and integrated cybersecurity with confidentiality work. Through science popularization exhibitions, interactive experiences, central square displays, and hidden danger investigations, the event included activities such as "Cyber Safety for Enterprises," "Cyber Safety for the Public," "Cyber Safety Education," and "Cyber Safety for Rural Revitalization." These efforts promoted cybersecurity laws and regulations into communities, villages, enterprises, government offices, schools, and households, fostering a social consensus that everyone shares responsibility, participation, and benefits in cybersecurity, jointly safeguarding a clean and clear cyberspace.

Statistics show that during the awareness week, the county organized 915 events, reaching 61,567 attendees, distributing 8,520 copies of informational materials. Forty-eight government new media platforms forwarded 8 related posts and reported 7 dynamic news stories. Among them, short videos such as "Cyber Safety into Enterprises: Building a Strong Firewall for Cybersecurity" garnered 120,000 views. An original AI-generated short video, "Fingertips Protecting Cybersecurity, Pointing to a Clean Cyberspace," was adopted by the Yunnan Provincial All-Media Collaboration Mechanism and reposted by mainstream media across prefectures, cities, and counties. The awareness week video was also featured on the National Cybersecurity Awareness Week official account.

Through coordinated multi-departmental efforts, localized outreach empowerment, precise scenario-based services, and integrated all-media matrix linkage, awareness of cybersecurity among cadres and the public has significantly improved. Cangyuan County will continue to uphold a long-term and sustained approach, advancing cybersecurity education and outreach so that cybersecurity concepts take root in people's minds, continuously strengthening the county's cybersecurity defenses to safeguard the high-quality economic and social development of the entire county.
