According to media reports, on August 24th, a woman in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia ordered a HAIDILAO meal set for takeout delivery scheduled for the following day. When she inquired about substituting meat items with vegetables, she was subjected to vulgar abuse from the merchant.
The woman stated that she made no inappropriate remarks whatsoever, and the other party was deliberately being abusive. After filing a complaint with HAIDILAO headquarters, a representative visited her home with gifts including milk, fruits, and flowers to apologize, and her meal fee was refunded. HAIDILAO's explanation was that it was due to a platform issue where the account was attacked by hackers, and they have not yet identified the individual responsible for the abuse.
When contacted about this incident, HAIDILAO responded that inappropriate content and account anomalies appeared on their third-party platform store accounts. They have initiated a specialized investigation and reported potential issues to the police for processing. HAIDILAO will conduct a thorough investigation into the full scope of the matter and will firmly pursue accountability for any suspected violations or actions that harm customer rights and interests.
