Recently, the Haidian District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau investigated and penalized a retail store for selling products suspected of infringing on the registered trademark rights of "POP MART" (the image above shows counterfeit products seized by law enforcement officers at the involved merchant's business premises).

**Enforcement Case** Following consumer reports, law enforcement officers arrived at the involved merchant's business premises and discovered multiple blind box products and plush pendants labeled with "POP MART" and "THE MONSTERS" logos on the shelves. These products' packaging design and brand logo styles were highly similar to genuine POP MART products, but exhibited obvious issues such as rough packaging workmanship and lack of proper anti-counterfeiting marks.

After professional authentication by POP MART's relevant trademark rights holders, it was confirmed that none of these products were manufactured by the company or enterprises authorized by the company, making them counterfeit goods.

Investigation revealed that the involved merchant purchased this batch of counterfeit products from irregular online channels and sold them at prices lower than genuine products, with total illegal sales amounting to 2,322 yuan.

In accordance with relevant provisions of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China, the Haidian District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau imposed administrative penalties on the involved merchant, including confiscation of all counterfeit products and fines, ordering immediate cessation of infringement activities. The seized counterfeit products were destroyed in accordance with the law, and leads regarding upstream production and supply units were traced.
