Energy data and intelligence firm TGS has been awarded a contract for offshore wind farm site characterization studies in Europe.

The Ramform Vanguard vessel is scheduled to commence data acquisition in early August, with the contract duration expected to be approximately three weeks.

The company did not disclose any further details regarding the client or the contract's value.

CEO Kristian Johansen of TGS stated, "We are pleased to secure additional site characterization work for the 2026 European offshore wind season. With more tenders currently in the market, we are actively pursuing opportunities to extend our acquisition activities into the fourth quarter of this year."
