Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad announced the redesignation of Lam Hoi Khong from Group Chief Financial Officer to Co-Group Chief Executive Officer, effective Jan, 1 2026.

Lam, 55, will continue to serve as Group CFO while assuming the new role. He has led the company’s finance, treasury, investor relations and supply-chain functions since joining on Jan, 7 2019, and brings more than three decades of experience in finance, accounting and corporate management.

The company said Lam holds a Chartered Accountant qualification from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, is a member of CPA Australia and earned a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

Malaysia Smelting Corporation reported no related-party ties, conflicts of interest or shareholdings for Lam in the announcement dated Dec, 31 2025.
