Stock Track | KB Laminates Plummets 13.09% in Intraday Trading Amid Profit-Taking and Director Selling

Stock Track

KB Laminates (01888.HK) saw its stock price plummet 13.09% during intraday trading on Thursday. The sharp decline extended the stock's retreat from recent highs as investors took profits following a significant rebound in the PCB sector earlier in the week.

The sell-off was exacerbated by continued insider selling pressure. Company directors have been disposing of shares since late June, including recent transactions by independent non-executive director Kung Wing Tak and executive directors Zhang Guoqiang and Zhang Guohua. This persistent director selling has contributed to negative market sentiment toward the stock.

Broad-based weakness across the PCB supply chain further pressured KB Laminates, with parent company Kingboard Holdings also experiencing significant declines in the same trading session, reflecting sector-wide profit-taking activity.
