Sim Leisure Group Ltd. announced it has accepted a termination settlement from Bandar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. regarding the previously planned Escape Theme Park at Jalan Lapangan Terbang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.

Under the settlement, the parties confirm that the Theme Park Agreement has been terminated. The owner will pay an undisclosed compensation sum in full by Oct, 30 2025 and waive any outstanding amounts owed by Sim Leisure Escape Sdn. Bhd., the group’s wholly owned subsidiary.

Sim Leisure Escape will return vacant possession of the project site on Sep, 15 2025 and, after receiving the compensation, will have no further claims on the land or against the owner and its related companies.

The group expects to recognise the compensation in its results for the year ending Dec, 31 2025, projecting a material positive impact on consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share.

The parties have agreed to keep the settlement terms confidential.
