Chip stocks extended their decline, with Advanced Micro Devices plunging over 6% and ASML Holding NV dropping more than 5%. Intel and NVIDIA also retreated, falling 3.8% and 3.5%, respectively. Meanwhile, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing and ARM Holdings slipped more than 2% and over 1%.
