Geo Energy Resources (RE4) has released written responses to shareholder questions in advance of its Annual General Meeting scheduled for Apr, 29 2026 at Marina Bay Sands Singapore.

The Group reported that the Indonesian Coal Index 4, which tracks 4,200-GAR coal, stood at 60.69 million US dollars per tonne on Apr, 17 2026. Management cited market forecasts pointing to prices of up to 64 million US dollars per tonne for the remainder of 2026 and 2027, while McCloskey projects a rise to 67-68 million US dollars per tonne over the next 15 years.

Production guidance for financial year 2026 remains at 11.5 – 12.5 million tonnes after receiving the required RKAB quota approval from the Indonesian authorities.

Construction of the group’s MBJ Integrated Infrastructure has reached roughly 90 % completion and is on schedule for finalisation by Jun–Jul 2026. Geo Energy awarded a 150 million US-dollar EPC contract for the facility; deferred payments to the contractor will begin in the second half of 2027, with around 70 million US-dollars expected to be paid that year. The company said it may fund these payments with operating cash flows from MBJ and potential bank financing.

Regarding funding, the 275 million US-dollar loan secured from Bank Mandiri on Sep, 29 2025 carries a five-year tenor with semi-annual principal and interest payments. The interest rate is 2.95 % above the secured overnight financing rate, currently just under 7 % in total, with repayments weighted toward the latter years of the facility.

Geo Energy reiterated its focus on cost optimisation and margin resilience across commodity price cycles.
