The Shenzhen Market Supervision and Administration Bureau recently issued an administrative penalty notice revealing that ZHOU LIU FU (stock code: 06168) has been fined 739.75 yuan and had illegal gains of 231.17 yuan confiscated. The penalty was imposed due to the company's production and sale of a substandard pure silver bracelet identified during a product quality inspection.

According to the penalty notice, the action was taken based on Article 50 of the Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China. The law stipulates penalties for practices such as mixing impurities into products, passing off fake or substandard goods as genuine or qualified ones. Penalties include orders to cease production and sales, confiscation of the illegal products, fines ranging from 50% to three times the value of the products involved, confiscation of any illegal gains, and in severe cases, revocation of business licenses or criminal liability.

Consequently, the Shenzhen authorities investigated ZHOU LIU FU and levied the aforementioned fine and confiscation.
