According to data from TrendForce's energy storage and solar research, domestic solar module tenders in June 2026 reached 12.89 gigawatts (GW).

State-owned enterprises remained the primary drivers, with China Resources Power initiating a 5.4GW module procurement and Zhejiang Energy Group launching a 2.52GW tender.

Of the total tendered volume, N-type modules accounted for 10.08GW, representing 78.22% of the market.

Within the N-type segment, TOPCon technology was dominant with a tender volume of 6.69GW, making up 66.37% of the N-type market, while BC modules accounted for 53.26 megawatts (MW), or 0.53%.

The total volume of awarded and shortlisted module contracts for June was 10.56GW.

This figure includes 6.79GW of finalized awards and 3.77GW for which companies were named as the primary preferred bidder.

A major 8.4GW procurement by China General Nuclear Power Group contributed 79.54% of the total awarded volume for the month.

In terms of finalized awards, Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. secured the top position with 1.67GW, primarily from a segment of CGN's 2026 framework procurement and a project for the Dadu River company.

Four companies—GCL Technology, Gokin Solar, Yingli Solar, and Chint Group—each won a 1.2GW segment of CGN's procurement, tying for second place.

The average bidding price for solar modules in June ranged from 0.708 to 0.878 Chinese yuan per watt, with an overall average of 0.761 yuan/W.

For N-type modules specifically, the bidding price range was 0.708-0.878 yuan/W, with an average of 0.764 yuan/W.

Breaking down by technology, the average bid price for TOPCon modules was 0.749 yuan/W within a range of 0.718-0.778 yuan/W.

The average bid price for BC modules was higher at 0.818 yuan/W, within a range of 0.77-0.878 yuan/W.
