Recently, the investment forum “Capital Dialogue Across the Equator - Understanding Indonesia's Real Economy,” led by Indonesia's sovereign fund Danantara and co-organized by 06886 and Indonesia's BNI Securities, was successfully held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.

The forum aimed to deepen the interconnectivity of the capital markets between China and Indonesia, focusing on Indonesia's macroeconomic trends, emerging industry opportunities, and cross-border investment strategies, thereby creating a high-end platform for global investors to share information and engage in strategic dialogue.

During the main forum on “Investment Opportunities and Macroeconomic Outlook in Indonesia,” Liang Hong, Chair of Institutional Business at 601688, delivered a keynote speech titled “Outlook on China's Macro Economy and Policies.” She pointed out that the Chinese economy is currently navigating a complex process of rebalancing and transformation, with traditional sectors stabilizing gradually under policy support in the short term. In the medium to long term, technological innovation and industrial upgrading will serve as the core driving forces. She emphasized that China's comprehensive infrastructure, large pool of engineers, and significant market size contribute to its resilience and competitive edge. In the context of a changing global landscape, Chinese assets face revaluation, with their long-term investment value depending on the outcomes of this transformation and global investors' repricing of risks.

Ibu Vera Ongyono, Deputy President Director of BNI Securities, commented in her opening remarks that the Indonesian market is full of developmental potential, with dynamic industry trends promising sustainable growth. This cooperative forum will further advance the deep integration of investment collaboration and capital markets between the two countries.

Several managing directors from Danantara's sovereign wealth fund engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including efficiency-driven restructuring, risk management strategies, and investment opportunities. Representatives from Indonesia's Economic and Fiscal Strategy Bureau also attended the forum, sharing authoritative insights into fiscal policies and national budget outlooks.

Liú Jùn, Chief Analyst of Energy Transition at 601688, held in-depth discussions with representatives from Indonesia's Barito Group regarding low-carbon transition pathways and the technological and resource differences between the two countries, exploring new opportunities arising from the restructuring of global energy systems and discussing cooperation paths for Chinese and Indonesian enterprises in energy transition.

In addition to the main forum, 601688 organized core asset research and special discussions for attending investors, covering leading enterprises in sectors such as local finance, comprehensive food production, mining, and e-commerce platforms, as well as the channel development and overseas strategies of leading Chinese listed companies in Indonesia, providing comprehensive and in-depth insights into the local market.

As one of the earliest Chinese brokerages to establish a foothold in Southeast Asia, 601688 has been continuously strengthening its service network in emerging markets like Indonesia in recent years, leveraging its professional cross-border financial service capabilities and deep industry research strength to build a high-end platform for global investors to gain insights and participate in overseas markets.
