TONGTONG AI SOC (00628) announced its financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of 412 million yuan, representing an increase of 56.1% compared to the previous year. Profit attributable to owners of the company amounted to 61.72 million yuan, up 55.7% year-on-year, with earnings per share of 1.19 cents.

The significant revenue growth was attributed to several factors, including the consolidation of income from CashBox Group Technology (Hong Kong) Limited following its acquisition on June 21, 2024, which contributed an additional 147 million yuan, or 105.3%, during the reporting period. Additionally, revenue from external customers increased by 3.1 million yuan after the company acquired Beijing Liheng Group through specific contractual arrangements in August 2024.

In contrast, the company reported a substantial decrease in profit before tax, primarily due to a sharp rise in employee costs of 54.9 million yuan resulting from the business expansion of Beijing Liheng Group, as well as an increase in amortization of intangible assets of 20.8 million yuan related to the acquisitions of CashBox and Beijing Liheng Group. These declines were partially offset by an exchange gain of 48.1 million yuan arising from the appreciation of the renminbi against the Hong Kong dollar during the reporting period.
