China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (the “Company”) has announced that Ni Zhen, formerly deputy chairman of the board and general manager, is now appointed as chairman of the board. This development follows the resignation of Song Hailiang from his roles announced earlier, including his position as chairman.

Ni Zhen, a professorate senior engineer with a doctorate in engineering, previously held various leadership positions at major construction companies before joining the Company. He will step down from the general manager role to focus on his new responsibilities as chairman. His term extends through the current (third) session of the board.

The board also approved an adjustment to the Strategy Committee’s membership, designating Ni Zhen as committee chairman alongside members Cheng Niangao and Si Xinbo. Their terms align with the duration of the third session of the board.

Additionally, Ni Zhen has been appointed as the Company’s authorized representative, effective November 21, 2025. These appointments comply with relevant regulations and the Company’s Articles of Association.
