HSBC Issues FCA-Approved Base Prospectus Supplement for 2026 Debt Issuance Programme

HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has published a Base Prospectus Supplement dated 4 August 2026, expanding its Debt Issuance Programme documentation originally released on 30 March 2026 and supplemented on 5 May 2026. The UK Financial Conduct Authority has approved the latest supplement, which is now available on the bank’s investor relations website and has been filed with the FCA’s National Storage Mechanism for public inspection.

The new supplement forms part of HSBC’s ongoing programme to issue debt securities in international markets. Distribution of the document is restricted to non-U.S. persons under Regulation S or to Qualified Institutional Buyers under Rule 144A of the U.S. Securities Act of 1933. Any forwarding or reproduction of the supplement is prohibited, and no securities may be offered or sold where such actions would be unlawful.

HSBC’s board currently comprises Independent Non-Executive Chairman Brendan Robert Nelson, Group Chief Financial Officer Georges Bahjat Elhedery, and 12 additional independent non-executive directors.
