On Sunday afternoon, TENCENT's Nintendo Switch official account announced that the China version Nintendo Switch will cease repair services for Nintendo Switch consoles, Nintendo Switch OLED models, and related accessories effective December 31, 2026.

The company noted that the China Nintendo Switch had previously announced in November 2024 that Nintendo eShop and other network-related operational services would be gradually discontinued between March 31, 2026, and May 15, 2026.

Additionally, to express gratitude for users' continued support and usage, a "reward program" targeting all China Nintendo Switch users was launched in November 2024 and is currently ongoing. Eligible users can receive redemption codes for up to four downloadable Nintendo Co., Ltd. games or utility software at no cost. The program is scheduled to conclude on March 31, 2026, and the company recommends that qualified users claim their rewards as early as possible.
