Singapore's stock market is poised to achieve its most impressive monthly performance in nearly six years, driven by a surge in bank stocks.
The Straits Times Index has advanced 9% during July, placing it on track for its strongest monthly gain since November 2020.
Major contributors to the index's rise include DBS Group Holdings Ltd. and Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp., both of which have delivered double-digit percentage gains this month.
