Weihai Bank (09677) has announced the successful issuance of its 2026 green financial bonds (second tranche) in China's interbank bond market. The second tranche of green bonds has a total issuance scale of 500 million yuan, with a coupon rate of 1.65% and a maturity period of three years.

According to the bank's official statement, the funds raised from this green bond issuance will be allocated in full to green industry projects as defined by the Green Financial Support Project Catalogue (2025 Edition), subject to applicable laws and regulatory approvals. The allocation also complies with the standards outlined in the Biodiversity Finance Catalogue (Trial Version), ensuring that the proceeds support environmentally sustainable initiatives.
