In a recent earnings call for the first quarter of 2026, Meituan's CEO Wang Xing announced that the collaboration between the company's AI assistant "Xiaomei" and Tencent's "Yuanbao" platform is set to launch imminently.

This integration will allow users to directly input their requests within the "Yuanbao" app, utilizing "Xiaomei" to access on-demand delivery and other hyperlocal services, facilitating a more seamless and convenient one-stop transaction for local lifestyle needs.

Wang Xing emphasized that moving forward, alongside serving consumers (To C) and merchants (To B), catering to AI Agents (To A) is becoming increasingly crucial.

He stated that Meituan views AI as a strategic opportunity to strengthen its competitive moat and generate new value, committing to the continuous enhancement of its AI Agent and large language model capabilities.

Wang Xing highlighted Meituan's advantages, including its comprehensive business coverage in the local services sector, extensive and authentic merchant information and user reviews, as well as a reliable fulfillment system.

He expressed confidence that Meituan is positioned to deliver the premier AI-powered local lifestyle service experience to its users.
