Notion co-founder Akshay Kothari announced that Notion Custom Agents has integrated the open-source weight model MiniMax M2.5, making it available to users as an experimental feature.

MiniMax M2.5 is listed independently as an "open-source weight model" in the model selection menu, alongside other models such as Claude Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.6, Haiku 4.5, GPT-5.2, and GPT-5.3 Codex. Kothari noted that for simple tasks, the cost of using this model is significantly lower than that of other closed-source models.

Notion is an all-in-one workspace that combines documents, notes, databases, and project management tools. It currently serves over 100 million users worldwide and is widely used in both personal productivity management and enterprise team collaboration scenarios.
