The upward movement follows the company's recent preliminary earnings announcement. According to the release, CITIC SEC expects its net profit attributable to the parent company's owners for the first half of 2026 to reach RMB 23.343 billion. This represents a significant increase of RMB 9.624 billion, or 70.15%, compared to the RMB 13.719 billion reported in the same period last year. When compared to the restated figure for the prior-year period of RMB 13.764 billion, the increase is RMB 9.579 billion, or 69.59%.
Furthermore, the company forecasts its net profit attributable to the parent company's owners after deducting non-recurring gains and losses for the first half of 2026 to be RMB 23.610 billion. This marks a substantial rise of RMB 10.039 billion, or 73.97%, from the RMB 13.571 billion recorded a year earlier. Compared to the restated prior-year figure of RMB 13.616 billion, the increase is RMB 9.994 billion, or 73.40%.
