Mirxes Reports Diagnostic Pipeline Advances and Insurance Partnership as Forensic Audit Proceeds; Trading Still Suspended

Mirxes Holding Company Limited delivered its statutory quarterly update detailing operational momentum in its cancer-diagnostics portfolio, a new insurance distribution initiative in mainland China, and the status of its resumption roadmap following the share-trading suspension imposed on 1 April 2026.

Product commercialisation • FITRAPID™: Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority cleared the Group’s first consumer-facing at-home colorectal cancer screening kit, which provides results within 5–10 minutes. The approval follows Thai FDA clearance and sets the stage for a fourth-quarter 2026 roll-out across Southeast Asia.

• DisCUOver: Launched in August 2026 as a laboratory-developed test at the Group’s CAP-accredited M Diagnostics lab. The 90-gene expression assay identifies tissue-of-origin in cancers of unknown primary across 21 tumour types, enhancing precision oncology capabilities.

• CIRRHOClear™: Development and clinical validation concluded. The blood-based microRNA assay detects asymptomatic liver cirrhosis with 89 % sensitivity and 95 % specificity. Commercial launch is scheduled within 2026 through M Diagnostics, with regional expansion planned.

Channel expansion in China Mirxes is advancing cooperation with Harbour Life Insurance to incorporate GASTROClear™ (branded 覓小衛®) into individual and group insurance programmes and elderly-care offerings. Pilot schemes across Harbour Life’s nine provincial branches aim to build a nationwide insurance‐channel network, deepen product penetration and generate real-world screening data. Final procurement volumes and service parameters remain subject to definitive agreements.

Regulatory backdrop China’s National Healthcare Security Administration issued new Guidelines for laboratory test pricing in August 2026. Mirxes expects GASTROClear™ to be classified under “cellular nucleic acid amplification testing” with eligibility for an “RNA testing” surcharge, providing a clearer reimbursement path as provinces adopt the framework. The Group is monitoring provincial implementations; regional pricing may diverge.

Resumption guidance progress Trading in Mirxes shares remains suspended pending fulfilment of six Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) resumption conditions: 1. Independent forensic investigation: The Investigation into prepayments and material cash outflows continues. After parting ways with former advisers, the Independent Investigation Committee engaged DLA Piper (legal) and Acclime Corporate Advisory (forensic accounting) to complete the work. 2. Management integrity: The Board reports no issues identified to date that would impair management integrity or market confidence. 3. Internal controls: PricewaterhouseCoopers is conducting an independent review covering procurement, treasury, financial reporting and disclosure. Work is in progress. 4. Outstanding financials: Publication of FY 2025 audited results and 1H 2026 interim results remains delayed pending resolution of audit matters arising from the investigation. 5. Sustained operations: The Board affirms that the Group maintains sufficient operations and asset base, with ongoing R&D, manufacturing and commercial activities in molecular diagnostics. 6. Market communication: The Company continues to disclose material developments through HKEX announcements.

Additional resumption requirement Following the 31 August 2026 resignation of director Dr. Lam, the Board currently lacks gender diversity as required under Listing Rule 13.92(2). A search for a qualified female director to restore compliance is under way, targeted within three months of the vacancy.

Corporate governance changes • Joint company secretaries Ms. Siow Yuet Chew, Grace, and Ms. Owyong Wei Zhi, Vitoria, resigned effective 30 September 2026. • Ms. Pun Ka Ying, Elaine, a Chartered Secretary with over 15 years of experience, has been appointed Company Secretary, Authorised Representative and Process Agent from the same date.

Trading status Mirxes’ shares have been suspended since 9:00 a.m. on 1 April 2026 and will remain halted until all HKEX resumption directives are met. The Company will issue further announcements on investigative findings, internal-control conclusions, financial statement publication and board appointments in due course.
