Nutanix Inc. (NTNX) shares surged 5.53% during the pre-market session following the company's announcement that its Unified Storage platform has achieved NVIDIA-Certified Storage status at the enterprise level.

The certification validates Nutanix Unified Storage for supporting large-scale production AI workloads and confirms its interoperability with NVIDIA AI infrastructure. This development is expected to help enterprises reduce storage bottlenecks and scale AI operations more efficiently as they race to build AI factories.

Nutanix also announced plans to advance AI-native storage with support for NVIDIA BlueField-4 STX, reinforcing the company's focus on faster data access and greater storage efficiency for AI workloads at scale. The NVIDIA-certified reference architecture is available immediately, with BlueField-4 STX support planned for the second half of 2026.
