CITIC SEC (06030) announced that CSI MTN Limited, an affiliate of the company's wholly-owned overseas subsidiary CITIC Securities International Limited (CITIC Securities International), which acts as the issuer or the guaranteed entity, established an overseas medium-term note program on March 29, 2022. This medium-term note program is guaranteed by CITIC Securities International.

In response to the maturity of existing notes and the company's actual business development needs, the issuer issued two tranches of notes under the program on January 20 and 21, 2026, with a total issuance amount of $670 million.

The issuance of medium-term notes by the guaranteed entity under this program is intended to supplement the working capital of the guarantor's group.

The guaranteed entity, CSI MTN Limited, is a special-purpose vehicle established by the company for overseas debt financing, executing the financing decisions of both the company and the guarantor. The company holds a 100% controlling interest in it through CITIC Securities International, enabling timely assessment of its debt repayment capacity. The guarantee risk is considered controllable, and this guarantee is not detrimental to the interests of the company and its shareholders.
