On December 30, 2025, the Board of Directors of CHINA COAL (01898) passed a resolution proposing to appoint Mr. Gao Shigang as a candidate for executive director of the company's fifth Board of Directors. This appointment is subject to approval and election by the company's shareholders at a general meeting. His term will commence from the date of approval by the general meeting and will last until the expiration of the fifth Board of Directors' term. On the same date, the Board of Directors resolved to appoint Mr. Gao as the company's President. His tenure as President will begin on the date the board resolution is passed and will continue until the formation of the company's sixth Board of Directors and the appointment of a new senior management team.
