NVIDIA's New Chip Initiative Boosts Software Sector, Lifts ARM, IBM, and HP Shares

Software stocks advanced collectively ahead of Monday's market open. This followed an announcement by NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, detailing a new chip initiative designed for personal computers.

The first trading session of June saw capital flow into a range of computer-related stocks. In pre-market activity, ServiceNow led the gains, rising 14.4%. IBM surged 12.7%, HP Inc climbed 12.6%, ARM Holdings increased by 12.2%, and Nebius gained over 2%.

At the Computex event in Taipei on Monday, Jensen Huang officially introduced the N1X processor, developed in collaboration with Microsoft. He stated that this product would redefine the personal computer, with an impact comparable to the evolution from feature phones to today's smartphones.
