The positive movement follows the significant unveiling of key clinical breakthrough data at the 2026 ASCO annual meeting. The results from the interim analysis of the pivotal Phase II ESAONA study for the company's self-developed, next-generation EGFR-TKI innovative drug, TY-9591 (Edotinib Mesylate Tablets), were presented as a late-breaking abstract oral report. The study focuses on first-line treatment for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer patients with brain metastases.

Edotinib Mesylate Tablets are a highly selective, next-generation irreversible EGFR-TKI independently developed by TYK MEDICINES. Early-stage clinical studies have already demonstrated its excellent ability to inhibit intracranial lesions and a favorable safety and tolerability profile, offering new potential for breakthrough treatment in lung cancer patients with brain metastases.

An analysis from Guohai Securities notes that Edotinib outperformed Osimertinib in a head-to-head comparison for NSCLC patients with brain metastases and is projected to launch in the third quarter of 2026. Third-generation EGFR-TKI drugs still have limitations regarding their penetration and inhibitory effect on brain metastasis lesions. Edotinib is a differentiated deuterated innovative product compared to Osimertinib. At the 2026 ASCO conference, the company presented the interim analysis results of the ESAONA study for Edotinib in first-line treatment of EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients with brain metastases. The intracranial objective response rate was 95.5% for Edotinib versus 79.6% for Osimertinib, and intracranial progression-free survival was not reached for Edotinib compared to 17.51 months for Osimertinib, with a hazard ratio of 0.46. All predefined patient subgroups showed significant benefit from Edotinib treatment.
