Recently, the collective industrial project in Pingfang area of Chaoyang District and the industrial project on the south side of Airport Second Highway (Phase 1) officially commenced construction. Located on the south side of Airport Second Highway, the Phase 1 project has a total construction area of 43,000 square meters. Upon completion, it will become one of the few high-end film production infrastructure facilities in Beijing's urban area.

Earlier this year, under the guidance of municipal and district authorities, Pingfang area successfully introduced Alibaba Group as a cooperation partner to build an industry-leading digital studio. The project is being constructed through a customized cooperation model and will be leased to Tiger Whale Entertainment Group upon completion.

Pingfang area actively promoted the preliminary procedures and implementation of the project. With full support from district-level departments including the Chaoyang Branch of the Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Commission, the District Bureau of Parks and Forestry, and the District Housing and Construction Commission, the project successfully obtained land use approval, planning permits, tree cutting permits, and construction permits on September 26, and officially began construction on September 28.

Moving forward, Pingfang area will closely monitor construction progress and complete the studio's earthwork and pile foundation construction within the year. At the same time, it will actively plan the remaining spatial resources of the industrial project on the south side of Airport Second Highway, focusing on cultivating new productive forces that integrate technology and culture.
