According to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Department of Transport, the region has been coordinating the advancement of various key projects across highways, railways, and civil aviation. From January to July this year, investment in the region's comprehensive transportation key projects reached 20.72 billion yuan.

The cross-dike bridge of the Bayintaohe Yellow River Extra-Large Bridge on the G1816 Wushi Expressway has been fully connected. In recent days, good news has been frequent from key highway projects across the region: the full-width connection of the cross-dike bridge on the G1816 Wushi Expressway's Bayintaohe Yellow River Extra-Large Bridge, and the closure of the left main span of the G110 Dengkou Yellow River Bridge. Currently, all 31 ongoing key highway projects have commenced construction. Newly started expressway and national/provincial trunk road projects cover 775.8 kilometers, and rural roads span 3,698 kilometers, completing 51.7% and 74.0% of the annual targets, respectively.

Additionally, various measures have been implemented in project construction to promote work-relief programs. As of the end of July, rural road construction projects and maintenance works across the region had cumulatively employed 1,435 rural laborers, distributed 10.016 million yuan in labor remuneration, and organized 1,427 training sessions on safety and skills for workers.

While highway projects are progressing vigorously, key railway and civil aviation projects are also being pushed forward with full effort. The track-laying work for the main line of the Yinchuan-Bayannur branch of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway has been completed. Additionally, a bullet train service has been launched connecting Xilinhot to the capital Hohhot, and the civil engineering for the airfield area of the project to upgrade Alxa Left Banner Commuter Airport to a branch airport has been finished.

To accelerate the construction of key railway and civil aviation projects, relevant departments have visited the construction sites of the Linhe-Hami Railway Capacity Expansion and Renovation Project and the Alxa Left Banner Commuter Airport upgrade project. These visits aim to gain a comprehensive understanding of land acquisition, demolition, and project construction, while coordinating to resolve bottlenecks and difficulties hindering project progress.
