On December 31, financial authorities imposed a penalty on China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. An administrative punishment information disclosure form from the National Financial Regulatory Administration's Ningbo Bureau revealed the bank was fined 2.2 million yuan.

The penalty was levied due to imprudent management of related loan and investment businesses, as well as inadequate provisioning for asset impairment.

Additionally, the relevant responsible individual, Wang Fang, was given a warning.
