A technical fault at a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal has prompted an official warning from Bangladesh's state-owned gas company, which announced on Wednesday that customers connected to the Titas Gas transmission and distribution network will experience reduced gas pressure.

The malfunction has resulted in a daily shortfall of approximately 450 million cubic feet of natural gas supply. Titas Gas has not provided a timeline for when the supply is expected to return to normal.
