China's industrial robot production saw a significant increase of 28.5% during the January to July period compared to the same timeframe last year, according to official data released on August 17.
Fu Linghui, a spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, announced at a press conference that the equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing sectors demonstrated robust growth in the first seven months of the year. In addition to the surge in industrial robot output, 3D printing equipment production jumped by 52.3% year-on-year, while lithium-ion battery output expanded by 40.2% during the same period.
