COMEC (00317) announced that, based on the recommendation from China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited and following nomination by the Board's Nomination Committee, the Board intends to nominate Mr. Cheng Bolin as a candidate for Non-Executive Director of the Company's 11th Board of Directors. His term will commence upon his election and last until the expiry of the 11th Board's tenure, with his remuneration to be determined in accordance with the Company's "11th Term Directors and Senior Management Remuneration Scheme." Furthermore, if elected by the shareholders' meeting, Mr. Cheng will be appointed as a member of the Strategy Committee of the Company's 11th Board of Directors. To facilitate the more effective operation of the Board's Strategy Committee and to fully leverage its functions, Mr. Nie Lijun has been appointed as a member of the Strategy Committee of the Company's 11th Board of Directors. This appointment is effective from the date of this announcement, with a term consistent with the tenure of the 11th Board of Directors.
