The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has announced the completion of its latest Tier 2 capital bond issuance.

With the approval of relevant regulatory bodies, Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China Limited (ICBC) has finalized the issuance of its 2026 Tier 2 Capital Bonds (Tranche III) (Bond Connect) on the national interbank bond market.

The issuance size for this tranche is RMB 50 billion.

The bonds are 10-year fixed-rate instruments, featuring a conditional issuer call option at the end of the fifth year, with a coupon rate set at 1.95%.

Following the deduction of issuance expenses, the proceeds raised from these bonds will be used to supplement the bank's Tier 2 capital, in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals.
