COSCO SHIPPING International’s JV signs 10-year Indonesian land lease for container depot

COSCO SHIPPING International (Singapore) Co., Ltd. (F83) said its 40% joint venture, PT Ocean Global Shipping Logistics, has, through 95%-owned subsidiary PT Global Terminal Marunda (GTM), signed a lease with PT Global Propertindo Internasional for a 15,530-sq-m plot of land in Semarang, Indonesia.

The lease runs from Nov, 1 2025 to Oct, 31 2035. GTM plans to build facilities on the site to expand its container depot, transportation and warehousing services. The remaining shareholders of PT Ocean are COSCO SHIPPING (South East Asia) Pte Ltd with 9% and PT Global Putra Indonesia Maritime with 51%.
