During a recent livestream, Dong Yuhui revealed that his company, Yuhui Tongxing, is set to release custom sanitary pads in response to consumer feedback. The products are currently in development, with a target launch date in mid-October. A customer service representative from Yuhui Tongxing confirmed the plans, advising viewers to monitor the official account for updates.

In the same livestream, Dong Yuhui also shared progress on several other custom products, including mooncakes, peanut oil, and Shanxi aged vinegar, which are expected to be available this month. According to the official account, Yuhui Tongxing now has over 15 custom products spanning categories such as food, beverages, and home textiles.

The move follows heightened scrutiny of sanitary pad safety after a 2023 CCTV 315 Gala exposed production irregularities in sanitary pads, diapers, and disposable underwear. Subsequently, actor Huang Zitao and EAST BUY both announced entries into the sanitary pad market. In June of the same year, EAST BUY confirmed that its first self-branded sanitary pads had entered production, with initial sales starting that month.
