Shandong Xinhua Pharmaceutical Company Limited announced that its Board of Directors has approved the nomination of Mr. Liu Weimin as an Executive Director, pending shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) expected on 10 November 2026. His tenure would begin upon EGM approval and run until the end of the Board’s eleventh session on 21 December 2026.
Aged 47, Mr. Liu is a senior economist with a bachelor’s degree from Shandong University. His career since July 2001 has included managerial and senior management roles at Hualu Holding Group Co., Ltd., the controlling shareholder of Shandong Xinhua. He joined Shandong Xinhua in September 2026 as Secretary of the Party Committee, bringing extensive enterprise-management experience.
If confirmed, Mr. Liu will sign a service contract covering the proposed term and receive a basic monthly salary of RMB 43,300 (approximately 0.04 million). Compensation was benchmarked against peer positions, the responsibilities of the role, and recommendations from the Board’s remuneration committee.
The company plans to nominate Mr. Liu for re-election to the twelfth Board session after the Proposed Term. As of the announcement date, Mr. Liu holds no shares in Shandong Xinhua and has no disclosed relationships with other directors, senior management, or major shareholders.
A detailed circular on the proposed appointment and the EGM notice will be dispatched to shareholders in due course. The Board stated that the management change is not expected to materially affect the Group’s normal operations.
